The city of Crosby is seeking a Finance Manger to join our team. The Finance Manager is responsible for the accounting functions of the city including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and utility billing. In addition, the position leads the annual audit and supports the budget and capital plan functions. Qualifications for the job include a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field and five years of accounting or financial management experience. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with government finance and experience with Caselle or other government accounting software. Ideal candidates are detail orientated, able to work independently, and have the ability to analyze and resolve problems. This is a Grade 8 non-exempt position. Pay band is $31.04 to $38.07.
